Booking & Check-in

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available — just ask!

What is the cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy varies by season. Generally, free cancellation up to 14 days before check-in for a full refund. Within 14 days, 50% refund. Within 48 hours, no refund. Holiday bookings may have stricter policies.

Is there a minimum stay requirement?

Weekend stays require a 2-night minimum. During peak periods (fall foliage, holidays, March break), a 3-5 night minimum may apply. Midweek stays have no minimum.

How do I book?

You can book directly through our website (best rates — no platform service fees!) or through our Airbnb listing. Direct bookings save you 10-15%.

Is there a cleaning fee?

Yes, a one-time cleaning fee is added to each booking. This covers professional cleaning between guests.

The Chalet

How many guests can the chalet accommodate?

Up to 7 guests. We have 4 beds across the chalet and 1 full bathroom.

Is there WiFi?

Yes, high-speed WiFi is available throughout the chalet. Good enough for streaming and video calls.

Is the kitchen fully equipped?

Yes — full-size fridge, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and all cookware, utensils, and dishes you'll need.

What linens and towels are provided?

We provide all bed linens, bath towels, hand towels, and kitchen towels. Just bring your personal items.

Is there a fireplace?

Yes! The chalet has a cozy fireplace, perfect for those cold winter evenings.

Is there a TV?

Yes, a smart TV with streaming capability. Bring your Netflix/Disney+ login and you're set.

Is the chalet accessible?

The chalet is on one main level, but there are steps at the entrance. Please contact us to discuss specific accessibility needs.

Hot Tub & Outdoors

Is the hot tub available year-round?

Yes! The hot tub is available in all seasons. Winter hot tub sessions with snow falling around you are a guest favourite.

Is there lake access?

Yes, Lac Lili is steps from the chalet. Perfect for swimming in summer, and beautiful to walk around in any season.

Is there a BBQ?

Yes, a gas BBQ is available on the private patio along with Adirondack chairs and outdoor dining.

Is the screened porch heated?

The screened porch is not heated, but it's perfect for three-season use. In summer and fall it's the best spot in the chalet.

Policies

Are pets allowed?

Unfortunately, we do not allow pets at this time. This helps us maintain a hypoallergenic environment for all guests.

Is smoking allowed?

No smoking inside the chalet. Smoking is permitted outdoors only, away from the porch and hot tub area.

Are parties or events allowed?

No, the chalet is in a quiet residential area. We ask guests to be respectful of neighbours and keep noise to a minimum after 10 PM.

What is the noise policy?

Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM. The chalet is surrounded by nature — part of the experience is the peacefulness.

Getting There

How far is the chalet from Montreal?

About 1 hour (100 km) via Autoroute 25 Nord. It's a straightforward, scenic drive.

Is there an EV charger?

Yes! We have a Level 2 EV charger on-site. It works with all standard J1772 connectors (Tesla with adapter). Expect a full charge overnight.

Is there parking?

Yes, free private driveway parking. Room for multiple vehicles.

Where is the nearest grocery store?

IGA in Chertsey, about 15 minutes from the chalet. We recommend stocking up in Montreal before you arrive, or stopping on the way.

Is there cell service?

Cell service is available but can be spotty depending on your carrier. WiFi is reliable inside the chalet. Download any maps or directions before you arrive.

Are there restaurants nearby?

Yes! Au Petit Poucet (classic Québécois), Chez Milot, O'Thai Rawdon, and several others are within a 15-30 minute drive.
